Kanoni


Kanoni is a picturesque peninsula located in the southern part of Corfu. It is a popular tourist destination and a must-visit spot for anyone visiting the island. The area is famous for its stunning views of the Ionian Sea and the nearby islands, as well as for its rich history and culture.


  • One of the main attractions in Kanoni is the famous Pontikonissi Island, also known as Mouse Island. This small island is located just off the coast and is named after its shape, which resembles a mouse. According to legend, the island was the petrified ship of the Phaeacian hero, which had carried Odysseus to his home in Ithaca.
